The city has celebrated five championships over the last 50+ years, three in Major League Baseball and two in the National Football League. Baltimore has had some truly exceptional play from a handful of individuals over the years, including Brooks Robinson, Cal Ripken, Jr., Ed Reed, and Ray Lewis to name a few.
The Orioles could stand to win the World Series one of these years. That would breath some life back into the fine citizens of this Maryland city. Plus, wouldn't it be great to see a handful of home games in Camden Yards? What an excellent ballpark.
The Baltimore Orioles are a professional baseball team that plays in the American League East division. The Orioles call Camden Yards their home ballpark, which is located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The franchise has had many great players throughout its history, including Cal Ripken Jr., Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson.
The team has also been coached by some of baseball's most famous managers, such as Earl Weaver and Buck Showalter. The Orioles have won three World Series titles and seven American League pennants.
As a reminder, Brooks Robinson was a defensive diety, winning several gold glove awards in his career. 16 to be exact.
The Orioles won the World Series in 1966, 1970 and 1983.

The Baltimore Ravens are members of the National Football League (NFL) and play their home games at M&T Bank Stadium. The team was founded in 1996 as part of the league's expansion into Baltimore. The Ravens have been one of the more successful teams in the NFL since joining the league, winning two Super Bowl championships in 2000 and 2012 respectively, and competing for the playoffs in nearly every season. The Ravens typically field a strong defensive team that is accompanied by a solid running program.
Some of the team's most famous players include Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs. The team has also been coached by some very successful coaches, including Brian Billick and John Harbaugh. In all, the Baltimore Ravens have had a great deal of success since they began playing in 1996.
The Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2000 and 2012.
