U.S. Open Beer Chugging Earns Girl Her Own Trophy
YES! That is awesome!

Let’s set the scene. Two Tennis Pros, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Roberto Bautista Agut, were competing in a match at the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament on September 3rd, 2021 at Flushing Meadows. Vying for a chance at advancing to the Round of 16, Auger-Aliassime fought tooth and nail to victory over Roberto Bautista Agut in the fifth set, winning, 6-3, 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-3.
Felix would not have the biggest victory at Louis Armstrong Stadium that night though. No, that honor belongs to a nameless, blonde beer girl who quickly chugged her beer after realizing she appeared on the stadium jumbotron. Everyone in the New York crowd was cheering her on, as they should have.

And so was social media now, too. Because if you’re going to do something in public these days, you’re going to be trending all over Twitter, Facebook, TikTok. Doubly so if you’re an unnamed blonde woman who is showing off her beer-chugging skills on camera at a third-round match of the tourney. And that’s where the story ends ...
Is what you’re thinking. But no, the cameras return to the US Open fan at some point in the fifth set, all but begging the tennis fan into another beer chug. Recognizing she’s without beverage, she grabs the next closest full beer and powers through her second chug on the big screen.

We’re not sure tennis will ever be the same. She’s the Serena Williams of beer-chugging and should be invited to the US Open Tennis tourney every year here on out, quaffing brews as a kick off to the event. Heck, bring her across the pond and have her do it at Wimbledon too. You could even make Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal or whoever wins chug a beer with her. The TV commentators would eat that up.
What made it impactful was that it was an unnamed blonde woman power drinking as opposed to one of Bill Swerski’s Superfans - you know the type, the kind of live-for-sports guys that are typically gassing down cans of cheap beer in the parking lots of NFL stadiums or at the bar watching NBA games (or even just at home watching ESPN), the kind that debate at bars who should be considered the best QB of all-time, Aaron Rodgers or Joe Montana, just so they don’t have to say the name, Tom Brady - the one and only G.O.A.T..
US Open Beer Chugging Video 1 Breakdown
The video starts on other fans, so you’re not even prepared for what’s about to happen. It pulls back, fades out, and finds two other people hanging out and enjoying the game. They both notice that the camera is on them, so she takes it upon herself to toss her hands skyward, presumably to get amped.
Then she quickly drops her right hand holding the beer to start slamming it down. It takes her between 5-6 seconds to consume the whole cup, which was pert near full to begin with. As if in victory, both hands go skyward again and we get a closed eye Jordan-tongue out pose. She won, the buddy won, the whole world won. It was awesome.
US Open Beer Chugging Video 2 Breakdown
She and buddy are checking her phone, cause the socials have to be blowing up at this point, and then they’re back on the big screen. She points, excitedly, before realizing she’s beerless, and quickly grabs a full beer elsewhere. Stands up for attention, and rips beer #2, albeit, a full second slower than beer #1, taking her 7 seconds.
That’s ok, it was the fifth set of what appears to be a long night. Wearing some spillage on her face, she proclaims victory over Flushing Meadow with all of the dominance of Maximus shouting, “Are you not entertained?” in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator.
She Did it Again in 2022!
Outstanding. Truly. She was back and did it again.
What was the blonde girl’s name?
Megan Lucky is the U.S. Open Beer Chugging girl's name.
What kind of beer was it?
Had to be a regular old cheap light beer. Something like Bud or Miller Lite. Maybe even PBR. No way it was a Triple IPA or something similar.
